You know, I’ve had a lot of dreams in my life.

I guess you could call me a dreamer. As a young boy I spent a lot of time on my own, so I became pretty good at using my imagination. I remember day-dreaming about far away journeys, great adventures, fabulous success, cool machines, being in the Guinness book of world records, free candy for everyone - you know… typical boy stuff.

Amazingly, ALL my dreams all came true. Well, aside from the free candy thing – I’m still working on that one.

But why me? I mean... why did MY dreams come true, yet this isn’t the case for many others? We all dream right? If dreaming was the only requirement needed to make dreams come true, then we’d be living in Utopia. And we’re not – at least as far as I’ve been able to tell.

It took me almost 50 years, but I think I’ve got it figured out. I know the reason MY dreams came true (and continue to) and how YOURS can too. One word: Be Bold!. OK, I know that’s two words. I’ve never been the smartest guy in the room. And by the way, intelligence is definitely NOT a requirement needed for success – I should know!

Have you ever wanted something so badly that you would have done anything to get it? And then, part of the way through your journey to get that thing, in the middle of all the pain and the agony and the things-going-wrong, you stop and you ask yourself; “What WAS I thinking?”

Well I have. And in fact, that is the story of my life. Really.

I've learned that sometimes, this is EXACTLY the kind of attitude it takes to accomplish a dream. In the words of Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe:

“What you can do or dream you can do, begin it. For boldness has genius, power and magic in it”.

When I was 33 years old, I sold my software company to Adobe Systems and I was ready for a new challenge. I decided to step out of my comfort zone - WAY out of my comfort zone. After finishing 12 Ironman triathons and qualifying for Ironman World Championships in Hawaii, I went on to design and build some very innovative human powered machines, and set 2 Guinness world records for the most distance travelled by human power on land and water in just one day. It took me 7 years of trial and error, painful learning curves, failed experiments, and insane physical training but I eventually succeeded. And I lost 60 pounds in the process!

I also plan on crossing the Pacific ocean under my own power and my objective is to inspire others to start using their human-power more.

I am now thrilled to be in a position where I am able to realize another dream of mine come true – to share my stories and the secrets I’ve learned along the way about how YOU can make YOUR dreams come true, as a motivational speaker.

They say that the purpose of a speech is to change the world, but my goal – my DREAM is to change LIVES. I would be honored to have the opportunity to speak to your group as your motivational speaker, or motivational keynote speaker for your next event.

Weather you want to be the best in the world, or the best in YOUR world, begin it – because BOLDNESS has genius, power and magic in it.

"Every year we hold an annual thank you event for our customers. The recipe is always the same .... We invite all of our clients, we present something specific to our industry - and a couple of days later - its all very forgettable. These days, clients expect far more than a sales pitch. I wanted to give them something that would evoke an emotional and far more lasting kind of response. Kind of like a gift. I wanted clients to associate the emotion, inspiration and motivation with our company - not just another "same ol, same ol" pitch. So I sought out various 'me too' presenters. They were either too pre-baked - or too expensive. Then I found Greg. He had something that related to our industry yet was fascinating and completely different. And, he offered something that I felt would tap into the little kid in all of us.

Well let me tell you that Greg hit the ball out of the park that evening. When I introduced Greg and told the audience 'there won't be any sales pitches tonight' ... They actually cheered! As Greg drew people in from the first few sentences - you could tell ... Or rather FEEL this was going to be a fun and inspirational message. After the presentation, everyone I spoke to said it was by far the best event we had ever put on. They were all very grateful to have been invited. I can't wait to see what Greg will come up with for next years event!"
